Uniting once again, Stephanie Beatriz and Melissa Fumero, celebrated for their portrayals of Rosa Diaz and Amy Santiago in Brooklyn Nine-Nine, are embarking on an adventure in the auditory entertainment sphere. The duo is set to co-host a fresh, weekly podcast within the My Cultura Podcast Network by iHeartMedia, entitled More Better with Stephanie and Melissa. Its inaugural episode will be available to listeners on the 30th of May.

In their upcoming podcast, the pair promises to guide their listeners through a deeply individual journey across myriad life aspects. They will share sage advice on maneuvering through the quirks of being adults, delivering insights through a lens of humor and self-mockery, peppered with embarrassing anecdotes. Essentially, the audience will receive a first-hand experience as though eavesdropping on the intimate exchanges of two close friends—and public personalities—discussing anything under the sun.

Fumero shared her excitement regarding the podcast: “Collaborating with Wilmer [Valderrama], the entire My Cultura team, and the remarkable squad at iHeart to produce a podcast with one of my best friends, Stephanie Beatriz, is exhilarating. Our goal is to make each week a bit brighter, provide chuckles, resonate with your true-life stories and add a bit of joy to your daily routine with every instalment.” More Better emanates from the agreement by Executive Producer Wilmer Valderrama with the My Cultura Podcast Network, which aims to elevate Latine narratives and voices.

Adding her thoughts, Beatriz noted: “A continuous, hilarious, and meaningful dialogue has been on between Melissa and me since we met roughly ten years ago. We’re overjoyed to include our audience (and hopefully, new friends!) as we try to grow a little bit ‘more better’ at everything! We don’t exactly see ourselves as experts in anything really! Yet, we’re up for the amusement our blunders provide, even as we stumble over the imperfect grammar that’ll pepper this podcast.”

“Working with my dear friends Melissa and Stephanie is truly surreal,” added Valderrama. He described the initiative linked to the podcast, More Better, as a significant move in “fostering and broadening Latino representation within the mainstream media arena.”
