Internationally acclaimed rapper Pitbull has recognized the virtual buzz surrounding him. This comes as a response to the lavish praise for his hit song “Give Me Everything,” featuring Ne-Yo, Afrojack, and Nayer, which was spectacularly transformed into an orchestral version and featured in Bridgerton. Here’s what he said.

“Once again, this shows that music is a global language that knows no boundaries, and how a hit can remain timeless,” he stated on his social media platforms. “Thanks to @bridgertonnetflix and @netflix for the opportunity, Dale! @neyo @afrojack.”

Netflix’s celebrated Bridgerton is noted for its novel soundtracks that give contemporary songs a classical spin. From Billie Eilish’s “Bad Guy” to Ariana Grande’s “Thank U, Next,” the series masterfully weaves pop music into its fabric. Not being reggaeton, Pitbull’s “Give Me Everything” (2011) fittingly shows how the flair of Latin pop can be intertwined with the Bridgerton world. This distinguished partnership has garnered renewed attention due to its feature in a critical moment between Colin Bridgerton and Penelope Featherington in the series.

This song has become a trending audio snippet on TikTok, with various users sharing their renditions of the moment, and some humorously stating their plans to include it in their wedding day music collection.

“Once more, this illustrates the global reach of music, transcending all barriers, and a hit’s capacity to endure across time,” he reiterated on his digital outlets. “Thankful for this occasion provided by @bridgertonnetflix and @netflix, Dale! @neyo @afrojack.”

Admirers took to social media to extol their fondness for the song in numerous comments. A fan, @Anabananerz, exclaimed, “Never thought I’d hear a Pitbull banger on Bridgerton but now I’m totally hooked!!! 🙌🏼 For sure it’s going on my main Spotify wrapped 🤣.” Meanwhile, another user, @rebeca__muahouston, shared, “Just watched that episode last night. Utterly spellbinding! I adore how the show fuses modern melodies with classical tunes. 🔥.”

Fans are not the only ones praising the music icon. The official Bridgerton social media account chimed in, “This storyteller wholeheartedly concurs with Lord Worldwide… Music communicates that which cannot be said.”

Remezcla had the exclusive scoop on this song debut the previous week (May 13). Justin Kamps, music supervisor, commented on the now-viral orchestral take, “That cover is quite special because it feels a bit out of left field relative to what we typically feature.” He added, “The composition is thrilling, with an incredible build-up, and we are excited to observe how listeners react.”

The initial season of Bridgerton can currently be streamed on Netflix, with the subsequent season set to release on June 13.
